SG Wines Gold Zinfandel Rose – 6 Bottle
Zinfandel rose is a fresh, off-dry and spritzy wine. Zinfandel is made from the Zinfandel wine grape, from California, which would otherwise produce a bold and spicy red wine. White Zinfandel is not a grape variety but a method of processing Zinfandel grapes. Zinfandel’s that are produced commercially are usually red or blush and can vary in taste from smooth with earthy qualities to to sharp and full bodied. The Californian varietal produces a mellow fruity character with a distinctive floral taste. This produces an excellent table wine.
This kit produces 4.5 litres (6 bottles equivalent) of delicious, refreshing white zinfandel wine in just 7 days.
Start the fermentation on day 1, it’s finished by day 5, and cleared, ready to drink by day 7. These kits are designed to be made as fast as possible, and given the correct temperature to ferment, will be ready to drink within 1 week of making them.
Although it takes around 1 week to finish, we highly recommend leaving this wine for as long as possible for further maturation and to release its more complex flavours and to deepen them further.

In addition to the kit, you will also require:
- Fermenter (5 L)
- Airlock & Grommet
- Demijohn & Bored Bung / Secondary Fermenter (minimum 1 gal / 4.6 L)
- Mixing Spoon
- Hydrometer
- Thermometer
- Syphon
- Cleaner & Steriliser
- *Sugar
- 6 x 750 ml wine bottles
- 6 corks & corker / screw caps
We also recommend the use of a Vinbrite filter to clear wine to a professional standard.
* This kit requires the addition of 600 g of granulated sugar (sucrose) or 670 g of brewing sugar (dextrose) for fermentation. We also recommend adding up to 80 g of sugar to sweeten the wine when bottling.
