What is Diablo Rojo?
Diablo Rojo, better known as Rioja is well known for its structure and tannins, similar to Cabernet Sauvignon, but it also has a fruity characteristic. This wine is perfect for those who love Cabernet but also looking for the dominant cherry flavour which is often present in a wine like Pinot Noir. Rioja is Spain in a glass, it owes its name to one of the seven rivers that meander their way through the area's mountainous north, where the vineyard-lined valley is home to a variety of grapes. Rojo Tinto is an off-dry wine full of black fruit flavours with hints of vanilla, spice and oak. It has a blend of Tempranillo and Garnache grapes. The Tempranillo gives fragrance and finesse to the wine, while the Garnache give colour and power to the wine.
