Beaverdale Kits

Beaverdale is one of the UK’s most trusted premium wine kits, crafted with 100% pure grape juice concentrate. Unlike many lower grade kits, there’s no need to add extra sugar, everything you need (apart from water) is already included.

Each kit makes 5 gallons (22.5 litres), producing around 30 bottles of full-bodied, great tasting wine. While it can be enjoyed young, Beaverdale wines truly shine with age, developing even richer flavours and complexity if you’re patient.

What equipment do you need?

Basic 5 gallon winemaking equipment, for example,  plastic bucket or fermenter, bung, airlock and sanitiser. You will find these under the starter kit section of this website.

Food Pairing

Merlot wine matches with a wide variety of foods because of its position in the middle of the red wine spectrum. It pairs well with chicken, lightly spiced dark meats, and slow cooked beef stew. Merlot is also a perfect match for tomato-based pasta dishes and pizza. It is also complimented with camembert and crusty bread.

Tips:

We recommend using a Vinbrite filter to clear the wine to a professional standard.
If you can leave it a few months to mature, the wine will greatly improve
