Beaverdale Pinot Grigio – 30 Bottle Wine Kit

Pinot Grigio, also known as Grauburgunder is a white grape variety of the species Vitis vinifera. Thought to be a mutant clone of the pinot noir variety. Pinot Grigio is a zesty white wine that is as refreshing as a cold glass of lemonade on a hot summer’s day. It is the second most popular white wine in America, Pinot Grigio is a dry white wine that has a punchy acidity with flavours of lemons, limes, green apples and honeysuckle.

Beaverdale Kits

Beaverdale Pinot Grigio is a premium quality wine kit which requires no added sugar (all of the sugar content is contained within the grape juice).  Everything you need to make this wine is included with the kit except water. The wine can be drunk young, but unlike some 3-week wine kits, it will continue to mature if you are patient. This kit will make 5 gallons (22.5 litres) of wine which will produce around 30 bottles of delicious wine.

What equipment do you need?

Basic 5 gallon winemaking equipment, for example, plastic fermenter or bucket, bung, airlock and sterilizer. You will find these under the starter kit section of this website

Food Pairing:

Pinot Grigio is a versatile crisp, dry white wine that pairs very well with Italian food, seafood and vegetable dishes. Pinot Grigio is very food friendly, pairing with most cheeses exceptionally well.

Tips

We recommend using a Vinbrite filter to clear the wine to a professional standard.
If you can leave it a few months to mature, the wine will greatly improve
