The malting of Muntons high-quality barley is a time-honoured process. The grains are steeped in water and allowed to sprout over 5 days, before drying, allowing the natural sugars to be released and act as a food source for the beer yeast – delivering a delicious malty flavour.
HOW TO USE THE MALT
Create your beer: Use as a base to create a hoppy IPA and English Style Bitters. Just add flavour and/or hop additions for a unique brew.
Enhance your beer: Add to all-grain or extract brews to boost volume, add body and mouthfeel whilst maintaining a balanced malt taste suited to hoppy IPA and English Style Bitters.
