Merlot

Dark Rock’s Small Batch Merlot kit produces 6 bottles of smooth and well rounded red wine with vanilla notes and a wonderfully velvety texture.

Food Pairing

Merlot wine matches with a wide variety of foods because of its position in the middle of the red wine spectrum. Merlot pairs well with chicken, lightly spiced dark meats, and slow cooked beef stew. it is also a perfect match for tomato-based pasta dishes and pizza. It is also complimented with camembert and crusty bread.

• Syphon kit
• Hydrometer
• Sanitiser
• Mixing paddle
• Wine bottles and corks/closures or a wine box

Tips

• Bottled water gives the best results.
• Use a Vinbrite Filter for commercial clarity.
