Economy Keg 2“ Cap & Pin Valve

This is a replacement cap and valve for the budget beer barrels.

What type of gas does this take?

This valve uses the 8g gas bulbs. This valve in the cap is called a pin valve. If you look inside the valve, you will see a pin protruding from the centre. This will pierce the gas bulbs allowing gas to be injected into the barrel.

Does anything need replacing?

Periodically it is recommended to replace the 3 valve washers to maintain pressure in the barrel.
