SG Wines Gold Shiraz – 30 Bottle Kit

SG Wines Gold Shiraz - 30 Bottle Homebrew Wine making kitSG Wines Gold Shiraz produces a wine with a bold spicy red wine with deep purple colour flavours of blackberry and plum, with a hint of dark chocolate and black pepper.

This kit produces 22.5 litres (30 bottles equivalent) of delicious, refreshing wine in just 7 days.

Start the fermentation on day 1, have it finished by day 5, and enjoy it cleared and ready to drink by day 7. These kits are designed for speed, and when fermented at the correct temperature, they can be ready to enjoy within just one week.

Although it takes around one week to finish, we highly recommend that, for best results, you leave this wine for as long as possible; this will allow it to mature further and, consequently, develop and deepen its more complex flavours.

ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS REQUIRED TO MAKE AN SG WINES GOLD SHIRAZ KIT

Included in the kit is a container of concentrated grape juice and sachets of yeast, stabiliser, finings and addback flavours – this improves taste & bouquet. In addition, you will need to add approximately 3.5 kg of sugar; furthermore, you will also need to add water.

What is Shiraz Wine?

Interestingly, Syrah and Shiraz are the same grape; however, in practice, the name often reflects the style and region in which the wine is produced. For example:

“Syrah” – Typically and traditionally, this name is commonly used in France and other parts of Europe.
“Shiraz” – Meanwhile, winemakers in Australia and other New World regions more commonly use this name.

Flavour Profile of Shiraz
