Beaverdale Nebbiolo – 6 Bottle Wine Kit

Nebbiolo, better known as Barolo, is a velvety, robust wine with deep colour and strong depth of flavour. It is often called the “King of Italian Wine”. The bouquet is intense, pleasant and complex, becoming softer with ageing. Nebbiolo (Barolo) is a dry, full-bodied wine with intense berry flavours and refreshing acidity. It uses the Nebbiolo grape, which gives a unique rose-petal aroma.

Beaverdale Kits

Beaverdale is a premium wine kit that requires no added sugar because all sugar comes from the grape juice. Everything you need to make this wine is included with the kit (except water). The wine can be drunk young, but unlike some 3-week wine kits, it will continue to mature if you are patient. This kit will make 1 gallon (4.5 litres) of wine, which will produce around 6 bottles of delicious wine. The kit is easy to make, and you can also choose a 5 gallon (30 bottles) version if you enjoy the style.

What equipment do you need?

Basic 1 gallon winemaking equipment, for example, glass or plastic demijohn, bung, airlock and sterilizer. You will find these under the starter kit section of this website.

Food Pairing

Nebbiolo (Barolo) is a robust wine and best paired with strongly flavoured dishes, hearty stews and milder cheeses.

Tips:

We recommend using a Vinbrite filter to clear the wine to a professional standard.
