Description
Harris Original Lager Kit
Harris Original Lager is lighter than traditional beers, with a crisp and refreshing taste. The aroma is fruity-honey with a touch of malt and the flavour is crisp and well-balanced between hops and malt, toward the malt side. Whatever the time of year, Harris Lager is best-served ice cold and with a wedge of lime, that both complements and intensifies the flavour.
Harris Original Beer Kit superior taste profile is due to the fact that we take great care to use only the best ingredients available, made with the finest quality hopped malt extract. We recommend the use of Starbrite, Beer Brite or Beer Clear finings to provide the beer with a bright, clear appearance.
ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:
To make this kit, you will either need 1Kg Brewing Sugar or 1Kg Lager Beer Kit Enhancer (Preferred). Later, you will also need sugar or carbonation drops to prime the keg or bottles for the secondary fermentation. We also advise using finings like Starbrite to ensure your lager clears quickly and the sediment sticks to the bottom on the bottle or keg.

Best bog basic larger kit I’ve tried so far, as already mentioned better carbonation if you bottle it – great result every time
Just started bottling this brew in 500ml bottles….WOW ! If you have got the patience – do it !
Brewing sugar for the main brew and 1/2 a teaspoon when bottling – ace.
Ideal for a quick pint – I normally bottle my beer in 2 litre bottles, the Harris Lager seems to like the smaller bottles ! Ace chilled with a barbecue.
Sharp, crisp and very enjoyable.
Brewed yesterday afternoon with purebrew added as well, took off overnight and bubbling away like mad. Should be great.
