Description
Krush T90 Hop Pellets (USA)

Released in 2024 after 17 years of careful development by the Hop Breeding Company, Krush™ is a new and exciting hop that’s already becoming a favourite with commercial craft breweries and home brewers. Packed full of flavour, Krush hops deliver a bold mix of juicy orange, ripe mango, guava, peach, mixed berries, and a hint of piney resin. It’s like a tropical fruit cocktail in hop form – ideal for hazy IPAs, juicy pales, or any beer where you want big, punchy hop character.
These hop pellets are professionally vacuum packed and nitrogen flushed by Dark Rock to lock in freshness, so you get the most out of every brew. They also come supplied in a box with a useful hop t-bag. Whether you’re brewing a single-hop hazy or adding it to a blend, Krush brings intense aroma and flavour that really stands out.
What hops go well with Krush?
Some good hops to pair with Krush include Idaho 7, Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe, and Sabro. These hops have similar flavours and aromas, and they all work well with the tropical notes of Sabro.
Where do Krush hops come from?
Krush hops come from the Hop Breeding Company (HBC), a collaboration between Yakima Chief Ranches and John I. Haas based in the Yakima Valley, Washington – one of the world’s most renowned hop-growing regions. Originally bred in 2007 as part of HBC’s experimental hop program, Krush (formerly known as HBC 586) spent 17 years undergoing rigorous trials and testing before its official release in 2024. The hop was selected for its intense fruit-forward character and versatility, making it a standout choice for modern craft styles like hazy IPAs. Grown in the rich soils and ideal climate of the Pacific Northwest, Krush benefits from the region’s perfect conditions for producing high-quality, aromatic hops.
T90 HOP PELLETS
T-90 hop pellets are produced from kiln-dried, whole leaf hop cones which have been hammer-milled into a uniform powder and pressed through a pellet die. Leaf hops vary in oil and vegetative content, so pellet compression is fine-tuned to achieve a consistent density for repeatable brewing, batch after batch.
Production processes are designed to protect and preserve hop resins by continually monitoring temperature and cooling the pellet die. Hop pellets retain all of their natural lupulin and cone material, and can be used as a full replacement for whole hops having a longer shelf life, requiring less storage space, and generally being easier to handle.
STORAGE
We weigh all hops only when there is an order for them – none have been sitting of shelves, they are taken out from a bulk vacuum sealed bag in cold storage at the time we complete your order. Our hop pellets are packaged inside UV protected polyethylene bags and vacuum sealed. They are then supplied to you in a box with a hop t-bag included.
Sometimes the vacuum seal can degrade – especially if hop dust settles alongside where the bag is heat sealed. If you receive the hops and it appears that the vacuum is breaking down, the hops will still be perfectly safe to use with no degradation of flavour.
If you do not intend to use then in a few days of receiving, we suggest that you store them in a fridge or freezer. Hop pellets stored near-freezing, preferably between -1°C and 5°C. Under these conditions, T-90 hop pellets will remain stable in closed containers for three (3) years.
