Description
Archer T90 Hop Pellets (UK) 3.3% Alpha
Archer® is a seedling of Sovereign and was originally bred as an elevated twist on the classic Goldings variety. Released in 2013, it was one of the first graduates of the Charles Faram Hop Development Program. Archer® adds extra layers of fruit and floral to the classic Goldings profile. It delivers a very clean bitterness and its distinct lime character is enhanced when used in late or dry-hopping. Archer® is a hedgerow variety. It is wilt resistant and tolerant of powdery mildew.

T90 HOP PELLETS
T-90 hop pellets are produced from kiln-dried, whole leaf hop cones which have been hammer-milled into a uniform powder and pressed through a pellet die. Leaf hops vary in oil and vegetative content, so pellet compression is fine-tuned to achieve a consistent density for repeatable brewing, batch after batch.
Production processes are designed to protect and preserve hop resins by continually monitoring temperature and cooling the pellet die. Hop pellets retain all of their natural lupulin and cone material, and can be used as a full replacement for whole hops having a longer shelf life, requiring less storage space, and generally being easier to handle.
STORAGE
We weigh all hops only when there is an order for them – none have been sitting of shelves, they are taken out from a bulk vacuum sealed bag in cold storage at the time we complete your order. Our hop pellets are packaged inside UV protected polyethylene bags and vacuum sealed.
Sometimes the vacuum seal can degrade – especially if hop dust settles alongside where the bag is heat sealed. If you receive the hops and it appears that the vacuum is breaking down, the hops will still be perfectly safe to use with no degradation of flavour. If you do not intend to use then in a few days of receiving, we suggest that you store them in a fridge or freezer. Hop pellets stored near-freezing, preferably between -1°C and 5°C. Under these conditions, T-90 hop pellets will remain stable in closed containers for three (3) years.
