Session Series
The new Session Range from Dark Rock Brewing takes kit brewing to a new level. High quality hopped malt extracts are matched with carefully selected blends of the freshest dry hops, to produce delicious beers with enticing aromas. These kits are simple to make and fast to clear and mature. From fermenter to glass within a month, and results which are of commercial quality. The range follows the best styles from around the world and includes a powerful West Coast APA, which packs a hoppy punch from the latest crop of Citra and Simcoe hops. From down under, there are three carefully selected styles; a New Zealand Pilsner, New Zealand Riwaka Pale Ale, and an Aussie Gold Ale. They are true to the Southern Hemisphere styles. An English Amber Ale and Canadian Craft Ale provide a more traditional amber style, with hops that are true to the malts, to provide a balanced moreish taste. Finally, a newer style, which is set to be a trendsetter is the India Pale Lager. The IPL uses Motueka and Simcoe hops to produce a hybrid style which is a cross between a lager and IPA. The result is a refreshing lager with a delicate hoppy taste and aroma. Perfect for summer barbeques and to compliment curry evenings. These kits are dead easy to make and produce beer as good as you can buy in a pub for around 40p per pint. With value like that, what’s not to like.
ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:
To make this kit, you will either need 1Kg Brewing Sugar or 1Kg Pale Beer Kit Enhancer (Preferred). Later, you will also need sugar or carbonation drops to prime the keg or bottles for the secondary fermentation. We also advise using finings like Starbrite to ensure your lager clears quickly and the sediment sticks to the bottom on the bottle or keg.

Being an All grain brewer I decided to try this kit as it was getting rave reviews. TBH after leaving for a couple of weeks I was a little underwhelmed!
However 8 weeks bottle conditioning has improved this beer beyond my wildest expectations. Well done Dark Rock so will certainly be back for more
I’ve tried a lot of these series and the part grain series, this is the best one yet. Brewed with the pale ale enhancer, this is smooth and full of citra!
After 5 weeks of waiting I tried 2 bottles tonight beautiful citra pale ale going to leave it another two weeks if I can thanks dark rock.
Brewed this beer and used the brew enhancer. I then put the beer in a kingkeg barrel with finings.
After only one week, the beer is crystal clear. A delicious session ale. A very similar beer to the Cornish real ales.
This beer is a top class bitter. It has plenty of hops, but also delicate malty flavours.
The guys at Dark Rock have made an exceptional beer with this kit.
This is an outstanding one tin kit. Ready for drinking very quickly. It’s bright and the Citra really shines through. Great value not only because of the generous dry hops but because it comes with Pure Brew. If you like Ghost Ship or Oakham’s Citra, you’ll love this kit.
