Geordie Lager

Geordie Lager is a light refreshing beer with a tangy continental taste. Made from natural ingredients – malt, hops and barley – it’s sparkling and light gold in colour. Ideally served straight from the fridge. It’s satisfying to drink and just as satisfying to make.

This is a 1.5 kg beer kit made from malt extract, barley syrup and hops.

ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS REQUIRED to make Geordie Lager:

To make this kit, you will either need 1Kg Brewing Sugar or 1Kg Lager Beer Kit Enhancer (Preferred) . Later, you will also need sugar or carbonation drops to prime the keg or bottles for the secondary fermentation. We also advise using finings like Starbrite to ensure your lager clears quickly and the sediment sticks to the bottom on the bottle or keg.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU NEED?

Basic beer making equipment (5g fermenter, airlock, syphon tube with sediment trap, hydrometer, Suresan sanitiser, bottles or barrel). These are available under the starter kit section on this website.

TIPS
