It provides essential yeast nutrients while helping neutralise chlorine and chloramine, which can contribute unwanted flavours to finished beer. For the best possible results, add the included Pure Brew as directed in the brewing instructions.
You will also receive Harris Starbrite Beer Finings, a vegan friendly beer clarifier that helps encourage yeast and other particles to settle, producing a brighter, clearer finished beer. This is particularly useful when kegging and can help reduce sediment transfer.
Your Old Peculier style extract beer kit also includes a disposable hop T-bag to make adding and removing the hop pellets simple and convenient. For home brewers who want to upgrade their setup, a reusable stainless steel dry hopper can provide greater hop circulation and can be cleaned and reused for future brews.
Tip: This rich, dark ale benefits from patience. While it can be enjoyed after the minimum two week conditioning period, additional maturation will allow the flavours to develop further, bringing the treacle, dark fruit and rich malt notes into better balance.
